Using Clues & Culprits
Clues & Culprits is free to play for personal, educational and non-commercial use. You may share links to cases, your results and screenshots. Teachers may print the printable packs for their classes.
Accounts
An account is optional and free. Keep access to your email address: it is how you sign in. One account per person, please. You can delete your account at any time from your account page.
Clues & Culprits Pro and theme packs
Purchases are sold by Waffo Pancake, our merchant of record, whose buyer terms also apply. Prices include any VAT or sales tax shown at checkout.
- Pro renews automatically each month or year until you cancel. Cancel any time from your account page; Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
- Theme packs bought on their own are yours for as long as Clues & Culprits runs. Packs played through Pro lock again if Pro ends; your progress is kept.
- Refunds: within 14 days of any purchase, for any reason — write to us.
- Gift codes give one year of Pro and can be redeemed once.
- Price changes never apply to a period you have already paid for, and we tell subscribers at least 30 days before a renewal at a new price.
The free game stays free: today’s cases, the last 7 days of cases, and every case page, hint page and walkthrough.
Our content
The cases, statements, characters, artwork and text on this site are ours. Please don’t republish cases or solutions in bulk, scrape the site, or present our content as your own.
No warranty
We work hard to make every case correct, but Clues & Culprits is provided “as is”. If you find a mistake, please tell us and we will fix it.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above will change when we do, and account holders will be told of any change that affects what they paid for.
