Why it works on managed devices
- No ads or ad-tech. Clues & Culprits loads no advertising networks, so there is nothing for an ad blocker or filter to object to.
- No accounts, no chat. Nothing to sign up for and no way to message strangers.
- Tiny and fast. The page is mostly text; the whole game engine is a few small scripts. It loads quickly even on a busy school network.
- Works offline once loaded. After a case opens, solving it doesn’t need the network at all — every check runs in your browser.
- One plain address. No game-portal domain, no pop-ups, no redirects.
We can’t promise every filter allows it — that’s up to whoever runs your network — but there is nothing on Clues & Culprits designed to get around one, and nothing that should need to.
A good break, not a time sink
Each case is finishable: Easy takes three to six minutes, Medium five to ten. There is no endless feed, no levels to grind and no rewards for staying longer. Solve today’s case, share your result if you like, get back to work.
For teachers
Clues & Culprits is pure logic with no maths beyond counting. It is good practice for careful reading, conditional reasoning (“if… then”) and proof by contradiction. Ideas:
- Project an Easy case and solve it together, asking students to justify each verdict before you enter it.
- Use the printable packs as warm-ups; answers are at the back.
- Have students write their own clue for a finished case and explain what it proves — the clue-type manual has the vocabulary.

Questions
Is Clues & Culprits safe for school?
Yes. There are no ads, no chat, no accounts and no third-party trackers. The puzzles are crime-themed in the gentle, Clue-board-game sense: thefts, leaks and swindles.
Why does it load on managed devices?
Clues & Culprits is a small, plain web page with no ad networks or game-portal scripts — the things content filters most often block.
How long does a case take?
Three to six minutes for Easy, five to ten for Medium. Progress is saved, so you can stop when the bell rings and finish later.
Can teachers use it in class?
Yes. Every case has a permanent link, and the printable packs work well as warm-ups or logic homework, with answers at the back.
