Play it first Just a hint, please

This Medium case seats 20 suspects on a 4×5 grid. 15 of them carry a clue; the other 5 only have something to say about themselves. 1 of the steps can only be proven by reading two or more clues together. The order below is one valid route; any order where each verdict is proven when you enter it reaches the same answer.

What happened

The collapsed man was a pile of blankets. Dina, a paramedic who ran the branch's first-aid training, borrowed the ambulance and its lights, and the flashing blue kept every passer-by at a respectful distance from the pavement hatch. Freya and Jasper, the bank's locksmiths, opened the boxes from a tunnel dug up out of an old sewer; Ada and Raj, the technicians, put the basement sensors into 'maintenance mode' for exactly six hours. Greta, Emil and Suki, the accountants, had chosen the forty boxes from the rental ledger: the forty whose owners never came back to visit.
