What happened

There was no leak, only a publicity plan. Esme, Joan and Lena, the writers, invented a shocking 'secret ending' that was never meant to be filmed in full; Iris, the star, acted it out for one afternoon in costume while Gemma and Kofi did her make-up as though it were the real final scene. Felix and Pia, two paparazzi who for once were on the payroll, shot it from a rooftop and sold the pictures to every website in town. Audiences queued for weeks to see the twist. It wasn't in the film. Many asked for refunds; most stayed for the sequel.
