Play it first Just a hint, please
This Medium case seats 20 suspects on a 4×5 grid. 17 of them carry a clue; the other 3 only have something to say about themselves. 1 of the steps can only be proven by reading two or more clues together. The order below is one valid route; any order where each verdict is proven when you enter it reaches the same answer.

What happened
The trust had seven members, and every one of them lived in Thornbury. Omar, a fête judge with a silver tongue, chaired it; Ada, a retired teacher, drafted its constitution in immaculate legal English; Idris and Tariq, the two innkeepers, hosted its 'public meetings' in their back rooms on nights when the darts league was playing. Kurt and Pia, poachers who knew every boundary stone in the parish, moved three of them in the night to redraw the map. Queenie baked for every meeting. The supermarket's lawyers grew suspicious only when the trust insisted on being paid partly in sausage rolls.
